1. Scope and Application

1.1 This Policy applies to all editorial, feature, blog, publication, spotlight, interview, lookbook, promotional, campaign-related, associated company, associated brand, associated project, event-related, partner-supported or commercial feature content published by or through KANG SEORYUN™.

1.2 This Policy applies whether the content is independently initiated by KANG SEORYUN™, submitted by a contributor, requested through a feature process, created in connection with a collaboration, connected to an associated company, associated brand, associated project, Partner Product, event, commercial arrangement, commissioned by a third party or supported by a commercial arrangement.

1.3 This Policy applies in addition to any separate written agreement, release form, campaign brief or contributor arrangement relevant to the content in question.

1.4 Terms such as Associated Company or Business, Associated Brand, Associated Label, Associated Project and Partner Product shall have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Sale & Use, unless the context requires otherwise.
2. Editorial and Feature Classifications

2.1 Content published by KANG SEORYUN™ may include one or more of the following categories:

  • independent editorial content;
  • featured content;
  • interview content;
  • lookbook content;
  • creator spotlight content;
  • artist feature content;
  • sponsored content;
  • commissioned content;
  • gifted or partner-supported content;
  • affiliate-linked content;
  • promotional or campaign-related content.
  • associated company or business feature content;
  • associated brand or associated label feature content;
  • associated project content;
  • event coverage;
  • Partner Product feature content;
  • platform announcement content;
  • commercial feature content.

2.2 A single piece of content may fall within more than one category.
3. Editorial Control

3.1 KANG SEORYUN™ retains full editorial discretion over the planning, selection, sequencing, formatting, publication, withdrawal, correction, revision, labeling, scheduling and removal of editorial or feature content.

3.2 We may edit content for clarity, grammar, formatting, visual structure, publication suitability, brand consistency, legal compliance, technical requirements or editorial coherence.

3.3 No contributor, featured person, brand, associated company or business, associated brand, associated label, associated project, representative, sponsor, partner, product owner, event partner or applicant is entitled to dictate final headline treatment, page placement, publication timing, label treatment, excerpt selection, visual hierarchy, editorial framing or continued publication unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. No Obligation to Publish

4.1 Submission of a feature request, contributor material, creator application, press material, lookbook material, interview response, associated company material, associated brand material, associated project material, event material, Partner Product material or related content does not guarantee review, response, acceptance, publication, collaboration, compensation or future engagement.

4.2 KANG SEORYUN™ is under no obligation to publish, continue publishing, preserve or republish any content, whether or not the material was previously reviewed, accepted, scheduled or partially prepared.
5. Accuracy and Source Material

5.1 Editorial and feature content may be based wholly or partly on information supplied by the featured person, contributor, representative, publicist, manager, label, brand, associated company or business, associated brand, associated project, product owner, event partner, agency or another authorized source.

5.2 We may rely on information, biographies, statements, quotations, promotional materials, media kits, visuals, captions, credits, product information, event information, commercial materials or representations supplied to us unless we reasonably determine that further verification is necessary.

5.3 Publication of content does not constitute a guarantee that all statements, claims, dates, credits or descriptions supplied by third parties have been independently verified in every respect.
6. Quotes, Edits and Presentation

6.1 We may edit interview responses, submitted statements, biographies, captions, descriptions, feature text, associated company materials, associated brand materials, associated project materials, event materials and commercial materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, formatting, length, style, publication suitability or visual integration.

6.2 We may also crop, resize, sequence, caption, reformat or otherwise adapt submitted visuals or supporting materials for editorial or technical purposes.

6.3 We will not knowingly distort the core meaning of a quoted statement through editorial editing; however, publication format and editorial structure remain at our discretion.
7. Commercial Disclosures

7.1 Where content is published in connection with a paid arrangement, sponsorship, gifted arrangement, affiliate arrangement, commercial campaign, commissioned arrangement, associated project, Partner Product feature or other material relationship, KANG SEORYUN™ may apply disclosure labels or notices in the manner it considers appropriate.

7.2 Such labels may include terms such as:

7.3 We reserve the right to determine the wording, placement, prominence and format of such disclosures.
8. Sponsored, Commissioned, Gifted and Commercially Supported Content

8.1 Sponsored, commissioned, gifted, partner-supported, associated project, Partner Product or otherwise commercially supported content remains subject to our editorial, legal, operational and reputational standards.

8.2 No sponsor, partner, contributor, featured person, associated company or business, associated brand, product owner, event partner or commercial counterparty is entitled to publication free from editing, disclosure, revision, delay, reclassification, refusal or removal.

8.3 We may refuse, suspend, relabel or remove commercial, partner-supported, associated project, Partner Product, event-related or supported content where we consider it necessary for legal compliance, editorial integrity, reputational protection, rights protection, platform protection, customer protection or operational reasons.
9. Affiliate-Linked Content

9.1 Some editorial or feature content may include affiliate links, referral links or other tracked links through which KANG SEORYUN™ may receive a commission, referral fee or similar benefit.

10. Rights, Permissions and Clearances

11.1 A person, artist, singer, creator, model, business, label, associated company or business, associated brand, product owner, event partner, representative or other party supplying material for a feature represents and warrants that they are authorized to provide the material and to permit the relevant proposed use.

11.2 We may require a separate written release, feature approval, image release, likeness release, artist release, creator confirmation, brand permission, company confirmation, product owner confirmation, event partner confirmation or equivalent documentation before publication or continued publication.

11.3 Informal communication, social familiarity, tagging, public posting or verbal indication alone does not obligate KANG SEORYUN™ to publish content or treat material as fully cleared for publication.
12. Intellectual Property

12.1 Unless otherwise stated, the editorial structure, page layout, original copy, formatting, compilation, visual treatment, branding elements, platform presentation and other original elements of our published editorial and feature content are owned by or licensed to KANG SEORYUN™.

12.2 Submission of material to KANG SEORYUN™ does not by itself transfer ownership of that material to us unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12.3 Publication by KANG SEORYUN™ does not grant third parties any right to reproduce, scrape, republish, extract, rehost, distribute or commercially exploit the published content or any submitted material contained within it.

12.5 Brand assets, logos, marks, photographs, names, product information, biographies, event materials, commercial materials or other intellectual property belonging to an associated company or business, associated brand, associated label, product owner, event partner, sponsor, collaborator or contributor remain owned by their respective owner unless expressly transferred in writing.
13. External Links and Embedded Content

13.1 Editorial or feature content may include links to or embeds from third-party websites, platforms, services, associated companies or businesses, associated brands, associated projects, Partner Products, event pages or collaborator channels.

13.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise, such links or embeds are provided for editorial, informational or navigational purposes only.

13.3 We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, platform conduct, platform terms, third-party availability or subsequent changes made by such third parties.
14. Corrections and Updates

14.1 We may, at our discretion, correct, revise, annotate, update, relabel, restructure or remove editorial, feature, commercial, associated project, Partner Product or event-related content where we determine that doing so is appropriate.

16.2 We are under no obligation to maintain unsolicited pitches, concepts, ideas, themes, aesthetics, campaign suggestions, event concepts, business suggestions, commercial proposals, product concepts or editorial proposals in confidence.

16.3 We may independently develop, publish or commission content that is similar in theme, style, concept, structure, subject matter or presentation to material submitted by others.
17. Withdrawal and Removal

17.1 A request to withdraw unpublished material may be submitted through the official contact form made available on the Website or by e-mail to concierge@kangseoryun.com

17.2 If content has already been published, scheduled, embedded, distributed, archived, indexed, incorporated into a broader editorial, commercial, event, Partner Product or promotional arrangement, removal may not be immediate, complete or possible in all circumstances.
